EUPHONOS ENSEMBLE
Music with Purpose
Euphonos Ensemble is a student-led chamber music organization dedicated to bringing live classical music into the community. Through performances at senior communities, hospitals, benefit events, and other community gatherings, our young musicians share their love of music while connecting with audiences across generations.
Our Story
Euphonos Ensemble began in 2023 with Emily Seo’s vision of bringing young musicians together to share classical music beyond the concert hall and serve the community. With the encouragement of her cello teacher, Prof. Hamilton Cheifetz, Emily shared the idea with fellow young musicians, beginning with Alex Tran and soon joined by Kaylee Nah, Andrew Lee, and Luke D’Silva.
What began as a small group of friends has grown into a student-led ensemble that brings live music to senior communities, hospitals, benefit events, and community gatherings throughout the Portland area.
